Welcome to Third Grade!

Welcome to our Third Grade Website! We hope to provide you with valuable information that will help your child succeed this school year! We look forward to using this site as another means of communication in order to keep you updated on what is going on in the classroom. We are excited to be teaching third grade and working with the wonderful third grade teachers. Please take advantage of the information provided on this site. If there is anything else you feel would be useful, please don't hesitate to email Mrs.Winstanley and let her know.

We use technology with our students on a daily basis. Feel free to check out the district's acceptable use policy and information on our internet filtering system.

Remember we take calls before or after school and email is welcome anytime throughout the day but weI will only check it before and after school. If there is an emergency or you need to get a message to your child before the end of the day, please contact the office at 323-5900. Thanks!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to foster a positive self-image and a “can do” attitude in our students by creating a caring, supportive atmosphere in which every child will know they are important. Through a safe, structured environment, high expectations, differentiated lessons, cooperative learning, choices based discipline, and positive relationships, we can make a difference in our student’s lives and give them an opportunity to explore what they can accomplish. We will greet each child with a smile and treat them with respect and understanding throughout the day and the year. Each child will leave our class knowing that they are important to us.
