We use technology with our students on a daily basis. Feel free to check out the district's acceptable use policy and information on our internet filtering system.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email us at 323-5920, jwinstanley@portageps.org, or kgrindall@portageps.org. Remember we take calls before or after school and email is welcome anytime throughout the day but weI will only check it before and after school. If there is an emergency or you need to get a message to your child before the end of the day, please contact the office at 323-5900. Thanks!

Mission Statement
My mission is to foster a positive self-image and a “can do” attitude in our students by creating a caring, supportive atmosphere in which every child will know they are important. Through a safe, structured environment, high expectations, differentiated lessons, cooperative learning, choices based discipline, and positive relationships, we can make a difference in my student’s lives and give them an opportunity to explore what they can accomplish. I will greet each child with a smile and treat them with respect and understanding throughout the day and the year. Each child will leave my class knowing that they are important to me.
